Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.

The Cure

The allure

of the cure

can be quite

hard to fight,

when sold right.

Even when the

price s high,

a cure is hard

not to buy.

Righteous anger

seduces quick,

it’s hard to shake

outthink or trick.

So ask yourself again,

if you are quite sure,

you know what you’re

so desperate to cure.

Corruption?

Humiliation?

Of age old ancestors,

through retaliation?

Corruption never

goes away,

just learns a cleverer

way to stay.

We’ve reached a

good place now.

To enjoy it, we can choose,

or chase vengeance and lose.

For if you wage

this ugly war,

you’ll lose yourself

so you better be sure.

Yes, your enemy

can be destroyed,

by replacing your soul

with a gaping void.

When it’s all over,

what will you gain,

besides emptiness,

and another’s pain?

For vengeance is greedy,

never content,

until its host is consumed

and utterly spent.
