The Journey

A tiny stream

Bubbling with mirth

Begins its journey

To explore the earth

So much to learn

So much to see

so much to discover

So much to be

What have we here

Churning cynicism with hope

Turbulence is frightening

Mesmerising, hypnotising...

It is green all around

Life blooms and prospers

Fishes and trees, the river,

Nourishes and nurtures

The green is flourishing

The fishes are fine

The river moves on

As does time

The water flows free

It still runs deep

This is the time

For another leap

The slope is gentle

The flow gets sluggish

As the river joins the sea

Loses its identity
