This poem was inspired by the movie Chocolat and should rightly be called Chocophony.

Chocophony

A smudge of weakness dabbed with courage

Spots of prejudice blurred by kindness

Blotches of anger diffused with laughter

Paints a story in human color

Saccharine chili bitter sour,

When these failings come together

Their fusion creates many a flavor

The magic of chocolate for all to savor

There is no learning without erring

Innocence though blemishless is nothing

True perfection comes from churning

A million shades of human failing

For all you chocolate lovers out there, go find your favorite flavor, and take a bite out of life!
