I often write about the interactions between my two little ones. So far the younger one had been eager to accept help fom the older one and watch in awe as the older one does things that she her self can't yet do.

When I was pregnant with my second child, a few mothers told me that, the older one would get very jealous at the arrival of the new baby. We are a nuclear family. So at that time it was just papa, me and our only daughter.

About half a year ago, I wanted to introduce my daughter to gardening. We did a wonderful seed germination project with mustard and fenugreek seeds. My daughter observed the seeds sprout tiny shoots, and then little tiny green leaves popped up and then a tiny little plant of sorts sprung up.

When we brought our infant home from the hospital there were some immediate things to figure out. To start with some one would have to bathe her the very next day. I had two options. One was to hire someone to do it, or find the guts to do it myself. I did not find either option very appealing.

My husband and I like to watch a TV show at dinnertime. Till quite recently, our daughter was too young to care about, or understand what we were watching. She would just play with her toys and talk to her grandma on the phone or do coloring. But off late I have noticed, her paying some attention, to TV shows we watch.

Since our daughter was 6 months old, the last hour before bed has always been daddy daughter time. That is when I get chores done or read or write a blog post. The days I am reading or writing a blog post, I get to hear snippets of father daughter conversations that are often quite amusing.
